The one I’m going to is in Florida from February 6-8!!!!!! I’m hella excitedddd
Hi there, Playlist-goers!
November is just around the corner and we couldn’t be more excited for Playlist Live Tri-State
We can’t believe it has already been almost 5 years since our first Playlist Live in Orlando. It has been an amazing journey developing Playlist Live with the support of an incredible community of creators, fans and industry partners. We’d like to thank all of you for your unwavering love and support!
Our team is constantly working to make sure we improve the Playlist Live experience each year. With that being said, we’ve done our research! We’ve noticed that most YouTube-oriented events across the world are experiencing problems with meetups and signings becoming overwhelming for fans, creators, security and event staff. These issues will only become more prevalent as creators gain larger and larger audiences.
Everyone wants a chance to meet his or her favorite creator and we get that! We know events like Playlist Live don’t come along very often and this makes the event experiencethat much more important to you. Please understand that it is physically impossible for our specials guests to meet each and every one of you.
We have been working with some of our special guests, managers, industry partners, crowd control experts, parents and fans to figure out new ways to improve the Playlist Live meetup experience.
We’re extremely excited to announce the roll out of our new and improved meetup process for Playlist Live Tri-State!
This means you are able to meet more of your favorite YouTubers in one scheduled process! This will give you more time to explore all of the other activities that Playlist Live Tri-State has to offer.
All ticket holders will be allowed to pre-register for meetups online towards the end of October. You will have the opportunity to pre-register for two meetups of your choice, one on Saturday and the other on Sunday. There are limited slots available for each meetup group and pre-registration will be on a first-come, first-serve basis when the process goes live on our website in late October! Make sure you’re following us on Faceboook, Twitter & Instagram for updates!
The great thing about the pre-registration process is that it allows every ticket holder at Playlist Live Tri-State to meet a group of special guests on each day with minimal lines, wait time or guessing. You will no longer need to camp out early for a spot in line, it’s all sorted well in advance! Once you are pre-registered, you’re in. It’s just like having a seat at the movie theatre–you come when the meetup is scheduled, have a seat and meet that particular group of special guests one after the other. It will be that simple!
Playlist Live is filled with amazing stage performances and activities. We hope our new pre-registration process for meetups will give you more time to enjoy the rest of the event, meet new friends and learn new things.
Hopefully we have done a good job outlining the timeline and specifics of how this new process will work. Please take some time to read through it. If you have questions, our team would love to help you — just drop us a line at http://tristate.playlist-live.com/contact.
We look forward to seeing you at Playlist Live Tri-State and thank you again for your continued support of Playlist Live!

Community Days: Saturday & Sunday!
The first thing any beginning YouTuber must realize is that gaining an audience won’t come to you right away. You must first build your “brand” and concept for your channel. When people see that you are in charge of your own content and that you know what you are doing, they are more likely to stick around and even share it if they are so inclined.
How do you come up with solid ideas? Unfortunately I don’t know. You are the only person who can answer that. What are your interests? What is your passion? What do you like to talk about? How would you like to express your voice and have it be heard? Of course YouTube is a wonderful platform, I think we can all agree. However, if - for instance - writing or conversing with people is something you love and are good at, you may not necessarily want to make videos but instead start a blog or a podcast. Social media platforms such as twitter, facebook and instagram can be used as tools to help expand your network and bring in an audience. Just as how going to Business Day at Playlist allows you to network with other creators. *wink* *wink* (Here’s a social media tip: we all know that twitter, fb and instagram have all completely different uses. use this as an advantage to broaden your creativity and audience. eg: don’t only link your blog posts, videos, or podcasts to your twitter. actually tweet! get involved in conversations and have people hear what you want to say! people who may have just followed you on twitter most likely have never seen your blog or heard of your podcast. and just like that you gained a potential audience member)
